.RINCIAN ALBUM BARU AVENGED SEVENFOLD "NIGHTMARE"

Seperti dalam posting terdahulu yang membahas rencana wawancara Avenged Sevenfold di HardDrive Radio, kali ini merupakan hasil dari wawancara tersebut.

Dalam wawancara itu Avenged Sevenfold diwakili oleh M. Shadows dan Synyster Gates. Album yang diberinama “Nightmare” tersebut akan segera dirilis dimana proses mixing dibantu oleh Andy Wallace.

Album tersebut didedikasi kan kepada The Rev.Yang menjadi sorotan adalah lagu berjudul “Fiction” (judul yang diberikan oleh The Rev sendiri) dan lagu pertama berjudul “Death”, itu adalah lagu terakhir yang dia tulis dan saat menyerahkan lagu tersebut dia mengatakan “Itu saja” dan itu merupakan lagu terakhir untuk proses rekaman ini. Tiga hari kemudian dia meninggal. Sebagian besar lagu sadah selesai di mixing oleh Andy Wallace. Untuk video wawancaranya akan menyusul dilain waktu

“The new album, “Nightmare,” is dedicated to his memory and although it’s not exactly a concept album, it does center around The Rev. The eeriest thing about it is there is a song on the album called “Fiction” (a nickname The Rev gave himself) which started out with the title “Death.” And the song was the last song The Rev wrote for the album, and when he handed it in, he said, that’s it, that’s the last song for this record. And then 3 days later, he died. The guys have been in town mixing the album and are almost half completed with Andy Wallace. Seperti yang kita tahu, Mike Portnoy mengisi tempat Avenged Sevenfold. Dia juga akan tour bersama Avenged Sevenfold di Rockstar Uproar. Zacky mewakili Avenged Sevenfold memeberikan pernyataan atas hal tersebut, berikut pernyataanya :

After being so kind and caring to help us in the studio, the rumors are in fact true and Mike Portnoy will indeed be helping us on the upcoming UPROAR tour later this year. We hope to see you all out on the road. Mike Portnoy Akan Tour Dengan A7x.
Tour Avenged Sevenfold dalam Rockstar Uproar, posisi drummer akan tetap diisi oleh Mike Portnoy. Hal ini sudah dikonfirmasi secara di situs Avenged Sevenfold.
Berikut pernyataan Mike Portnoy :

After having had such an amazing experience recording my drum tracks for the new Avenged Sevenfold album, we all knew it would be awesome if I’d be able to do some touring with the band after its release…

I am happy to say that the timing worked out perfectly that my touring cycle with Dream Theater (and Transatlantic) was coming to an end just as A7X’s was scheduled begin!

(well, perfect for everyone except my poor family!) : )

Although I wish I could stay on board with A7X in a more permanent capacity, the reality is that I am committed to Dream Theater as my main priority (that is my baby after all!), and I will need to resume work with DT to start a new album at some point in 2011….

However, I will be able to join my brothers in Avenged Sevenfold for at least the duration of their touring throughout 2010…and hopefully this will give them the time to continue to heal and get comfortable back on the road….

You can look at me like the band’s “rebound drummer” to buy them some time until they are comfortable and ready to make a commitment to somebody new for full-time relationship in their future!

In the meantime, I am real excited to hit the road with the boys…to bring my drumming from their new album to life on stage and to honor The Rev with all of their older material….

(Hey, do I get to have a cool, bad-ass stage name now???) : )

Avenged Sevenfold Main Di Uproar 2010


Seperti yang sudah diberitakan kemarin bahwa Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed Main Di Rockstar Energy Drink Uproar Fest. Kali ini merupakan konfirmasi resmi dari pihak Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR dan juga ada video resmi dari mereka yang menampilkan Band yang tampil dalam tour yang dimulai tanggal 17 Agustus. Yang terlihat dari Avenged Sevenfold adalah M. Shadows dan Zacky Vengeance. Berikut jadwal Avenged Sevenfold.


Platinum headliners Disturbed and Avenged Sevenfold, along with Stone Sour and Halestorm will be shredding on the UPROAR main stage. The potent rock lineup for the touring music and lifestyle jaunt also features performances from Jägermeister Second Stage headliners Hellyeah, as well as Airbourne, Hail The Villain, New Medicine and the Jägermeister Battle of The Bands Winner in each city. The 36-date tour launches August 17 in Minneapolis, MN and will visit arenas and amphitheatres across North America before wrapping October 4 in Madison, WI.

Southern California’s Avenged Sevenfold recently finished tracking their highly anticipated fifth studio album, slated for release later this year. The group, once an integral part of the independent underground rock scene, achieved worldwide success with their platinum 2005 breakthrough City Of Evil (Warner Bros. Records).
